CAFEC ABACA Filter Paper Cup1 paper filters are designed for use with V60 type pour-over machines for 1-2 cups. The filter size is ideal for making 1-2 servings of coffee.

CAFEC filters feature a special “double-sided crepe” thanks to a unique paper production technology. This allows for sufficient air space between the paper and the pour-over, ensuring an even extraction process, allowing the coffee extract to pass through the filter at an optimal speed. Made from environmentally friendly ABACA (Manila hemp) and wood pulp, these filters support reforestation initiatives and can therefore be considered environmentally friendly. ABACA is known for its high strength, elasticity and good air permeability. ABACA fiber is four times stronger than conventional cellulose and half as thin. In addition, ABACA material is approved by the Japan Hand-Drip Championship (JHDC) as a high-quality filter fiber. To preserve the purity of the coffee taste, the filters are treated with oxygen bleaching.

To achieve the best taste, it is recommended to use water with a temperature of about 92°C. The filters are treated with oxygen to avoid any distortion of the taste of the finished drink.
