Ceramic matcha tea pot for making matcha tea
A tiavan is a bowl in which matcha is whipped and then drunk from. Before using it, it is necessary to warm it up in hot water to make it “come to life”.
The exterior of the Tyavan is covered with a glaze, which gets its appearance thanks to a special temperature firing, when craftsmen use a method of applying the glaze in stages during the manufacturing process. As a result, the surface of the product acquires its interesting texture. Inside, the ceramics are covered with a glossy white glaze.
