Making coffee with a Hario V60:

  1. Unfold the paper filter and insert it into the funnel.
  2. Place the pourover on a cup or other container to collect the coffee.
  3. Boil the water and let it cool to 94-95°C.
  4. Wet the filter with hot water to wash away any impurities and warm up the coffee maker. Pour out the water.
  5. Pour ground coffee into the center of the filter, observing the proportion: 10-12 g of coffee per 120 ml of water.
  6. First, pour a small amount of water to “bloom” the coffee (20-30 seconds).
  7. Slowly pour in the remaining water, moving it from the center to the edges, using a spiral.
  8. Finish infusing the water by the second minute, waiting for the water to completely pass through the coffee.
  9. When the last drops of water have passed through the coffee, remove the pourover and shake the cup to aerate.
