How it works: The AeroPress uses a pressure-based method of brewing coffee, similar to an espresso machine or geyser coffee maker. When you press the plunger, water passes through the ground coffee, filters it, and flows into the cup. When you collect it, the filter is inserted into the lid, then the device is turned over, placed on the cup, and by pressing the plunger, you create pressure to brew the coffee.

How to make coffee in an AeroPress:
