Our journey from idea to Rosteria
History of the Kyiv City Rostery began with a big dream – to create coffee that would be worthy of the world’s best coffee shops. Enthusiasm, experimentation, searching to the point of real fanaticism, and voila! We operate on an area of more than 300 m², have our own production, warehouse, taste laboratory and thousands of satisfied customers! Our path is a constant development and search for the best approach to each grain.
Our production today
At the moment, our production is located in the suburbs of Kyiv, in a spacious building divided into roasting, packaging, and packing areas. Everything is organized in such a way that the path of coffee – from the green bean to the sealed bag – is logical and consistent.
Equipment that ensures high quality
The equipment at our production facility allows us to achieve perfect roasting of each type of bean. The basic equipment we use in production is roasters Giesen і Coffed are known for their precise temperature control, stability and the ability to fine-tune the roasting temperature. For packaging, we use automatic weight-controlled packing machines, valve-sealed bags and inert media to ensure long-term preservation of taste and quality.
Roasting process
Roasting is a harmony of art and technological precision. The profile is selected separately for each type of bean. We take into account the density, moisture content, geography of origin and the desired flavor profile. To control and optimize the coffee roasting process, we use Artisan analytical software. This is a roasting profile analysis and recording software that helps professional roasters store roaster data, export it for further analysis and editing, and import profiles from other programs, such as Kaffelogic Studio. This allows you to achieve the best coffee flavor and guarantee the repeatability and accuracy of the process.
How we test the taste
Each batch undergoes mandatory capping, a professional coffee tasting. We taste each variety after roasting, checking not only for compliance with the flavor profile, but also for the possibility of adapting to alternative brewing methods or espresso. If the flavor does not meet our expectations, the batch is not put on sale. Only a decent product that we are proud of gets into your cup.
Packaging that preserves flavor
After roasting, coffee needs reliable protection. We pack beans and ground coffee in bags with a valve for degassing, and drips in a waterproof film that is injected with nitrogen to preserve the aroma and prevent oxidation. Each package is manually checked: we control the weight, tightness, and appearance. Packaging is not just a label. It’s a reliable barrier that protects delicate roasted coffee from the environment.

No compromises when it comes to coffee quality! That’s why we make sure that your order is shipped within a day after placing it, and gets to you fresh. For fast delivery in 1-2 days, we cooperate with Nova Poshta and RozetkaDelivery. So, it takes an average of 3 days from the moment of roasting to the finished aromatic drink in your cup. Maximum flavor. Minimum waiting time.
