Not just a roastery: we are a community of coffee lovers.
The history of “Kyiv City Roastery” began in 2012. It was then that two passions, for coffee and technology, merged to eventually turn into a large company specializing in coffee roasting, barista training, and coffee machine maintenance.
We started with equipment: we imported it from abroad, repaired it, and accumulated experience and knowledge. The inflation of 2014-2015 contributed to active interest in the Ukrainian product, which made it possible to add roasting and selling coffee to the list of services.
Analysis of world practice, communication with specialized specialists and motivation to remain relevant over the years have made us experts in the coffee market. From a company that started with selling 36-47 kg of grain per month, we increased turnover to 30 tons, improved previously offered services and created new ones. In addition, in 2020 we entered the TOP 10 roasters of Ukraine.
Now we serve coffee shops, restaurants, company offices; we have wholesale and retail trade. We are convinced that in such a business everything matters: the quality of the beans, stability in roasting, correct grinding and recipe, the taste of the finished drink, product packaging, the serviceability of the provided equipment and control and, undoubtedly, an individual approach to each customer.
In the conditions of war in Ukraine, “Kyiv City Roastery” continues its activities and supports the country’s economy. We have mastered a new discipline: to accept the challenges of sudden changes and continue to work hard despite each of them, to find and train employees, to attract resources to support and improve work processes and services.
We are patriots of our business and country. We have responsibly added support for the Defense Forces of Ukraine to our goals – this is one of the main priorities. Therefore, we transfer our products to a number of units, help with vehicles, spare parts, replacement tires, generators and fpv drones.
Coffee, a familiar ritual for many Ukrainians, should remain a component of precious peace for defenders, and support with resources should be a support and encouragement to continue the work of titans.
We are grateful for choosing our products and for the lives that are fought daily in a difficult duel by the Defense and Security Forces.
