Arabica Mexico Esmeralda is a coffee from the coffee region of Plum, which is located on a 250 – kilometer route from the city of Oaxaca to the Pacific coast. This is a region with volcanic soils.

The region is very humid. Total precipitation is up to 5000 mm per year. Fortunately, there are not many showers during the harvest period from January to March.

Coffee is grown at an altitude of 1100 –1600 m, and Esmeralda coffee is called the best in the Plumé region.

This region continues to grow coffee according to the old methods. Varieties of Arabica trees are usually tipika and bourbon. Small farms have the ability to wash and dry coffee in the sun. it is typical for farmers in this region to improve processing methods to obtain coffee without unnecessary defects.
